A universe set in California and Oregon, written from 2019 to 2021. Four longfics, and a single one-shot. Fumbling Towards Ecstasy can be read as a standalone. As with most of my work, this can probably be read fandom-blind.

As usual, all works in this universe contain sexually explicit content except for The Dogs Of War which just has UST so thick you can cut it with a knife.

• The Dogs Of War - It is late 2016. Nicolae Dooku is a professor of ancient history and has routines that help him relax from the school day. His next-door neighbor, Sören Sigurðsson - a fellow professor - seems to have made a career out of disrupting those routines. Dooku can't stand him. Then Dooku finds out Sören's boyfriend Seth is abusing him, and some of Sören's attitude can be attributed to the constant stress. Dooku intervenes, and reaches out. 40,565 words, 18 chapters. • Fumbling Towards Ecstasy - Sören Sigurðsson, an art professor in his early thirties, is on summer vacation, renting a room in a cottage in Sausalito, California. It turns out the other room is being rented by his colleague Mark Lauer, a music professor... an arrangement neither of them knew about at the time. They become friends... and then a bit more. But what kind of secrets is "Mark" hiding? Who and what is "Mark", really? Why does it seem that they were fated to find each other? And can they overcome the pain of their respective pasts to hang onto the promise of hope for the future? 195k words, 35 chapters. [Apr-Nov 2019]
• Down Is The New Up - Dooku plans to tell Sören how he feels about him. He's about to get a bit of a surprise. 4300 words. [Nov 2019]
• The Hounds Of Love - It is fall 2017, and Sören Sigurðsson and "Mark Lauer" are continuing what they started in Sausalito over the summer. But they have some challenges ahead - Sören's passion burns too hot to be with just one person. Indeed, Sören burns, in such a way that his path crossing with Maglor's may not have been coincidental at all. But can he tell Maglor what he thinks he knows of their past, the sweet sin he remembers? And where is the other from those days, that he could not live without? 87k words, 17 chapters. • Hello, It's Me - Maglor has been wandering the Earth for thousands of years. His father was reborn as mortal and against all odds, they have found their way back to each other; Sören has reclaimed a Silmaril and is looking for the others. It happens that Fëanor's brothers are around too. But will they also remember who they are, and will they revisit the forbidden passion - and power - they once knew?
